Using c:me
By accessing or using c:me, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to create a profile. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you when using the service.
Your account
Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not impersonate someone else, create an account for another person without permission, or help anyone evade a restriction. Community conduct
Treat other members with respect. You may not use c:me to:
- harass, threaten, exploit, or intimidate anyone;
- post hateful, discriminatory, or abusive content;
- send spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial messages;
- share content that is illegal or violates another person’s rights;
- scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or access the service or another person’s account without authorization;
- misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
Use the in-app reporting and blocking tools when something feels unsafe. Do not share another person’s private information without their permission.
Profiles and content
You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give c:me permission to host, store, display, and process it as needed to operate the service—for example, to show your profile to eligible members and deliver your messages to their intended recipients. You are responsible for having the rights to share what you post. Do not include anything you would not want the relevant members to see.
Matching and safety
c:me uses quiz results and preferences to suggest connections. Suggestions are automated, may change, and do not guarantee compatibility, a response, or a relationship. Personality results are for self-reflection and connection; they are not medical, mental-health, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for your interactions with other members. We do not guarantee that every profile or statement is accurate or that every interaction will be safe. Use good judgment and protect sensitive personal information.
Our service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of c:me to maintain or improve the service. We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, someone’s safety is at risk, or the service is being misused. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Third-party services
c:me may rely on third-party services, including sign-in and notification providers. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to your use of those services. c:me is not responsible for services that it does not control.
Disclaimers and liability
c:me is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, c:me is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page. If you continue using c:me after updated terms take effect, that use is subject to the revised terms.
